We are pleased to announce the VC8300, Zebra’s new ultra-rugged vehicle-mounted mobile computer based on Zebra’s outstanding and unique Android platform.  The VC8300 completes Zebra’s offering of Android vehicle mounted computers by a compact device with integrated full alphanumeric keyboard (field replaceable) and 12 direct function keys.

The VC8300 features an 8’’ display, 4GB RAM and 32GB of Flash memory and includes Ivanti (former Wavellink) Velocity by default (pre-licensed/loaded). It is also available in Standard and Freezer versions. The operating system is Android v8 (Oreo) GMS with support for two more versions (P&Q).

All VH10, VC80 and VC80x accessories can be used with the VC8300. The only new accessory is an anti-reflection foil for the display.

When it comes to data input, the VC8300 offers complete flexibility. The integrated full alphanumeric keyboard gives workers the same familiar key-based interaction they use today — no change to workflow required.  With the VC8300’s compact design it is easy to install on forklifts, clamp trucks, yard mules and cranes and is built to operate in the toughest indoor and outdoor environments including warehouses, distribution centers, airports, seaports and railway yards.
